Grammar Worksheets for Khan Academy
The questions on the SAT grammar and ACT grammar sections are passage-based, meaning the questions are embedded within passages, not free-floating sentences (this was what the old SAT was like). As such, the best way to study for the test is to take a passage-based approach to improving your grammar skills.
The best place to do this is Khan Academy, but you have to do it smartly.
Recognize,
Recall & Resolve
First, recognize the question by identifying the question type of each question (the question types will be on the back of the previous page). Next, recall how to answer this question without looking at the answer choices. I try to think of what the question is actually asking me and how to fix it. Finally, resolve the question by bubbling in the correct answer and rating your confidence from 1 to 5.
After answering the questions, you should review the grammatical concepts you missed. You should also review any passage you had less than a four out of five confidence level.
